Are you new to homeschooling and don't know where to start?
Many families are looking into homeschool, especially with all of the changes in public school health policies due to the pandemic. I know how intimidating that transition can be, and I'd like to help you through this process.
If you are just getting started, I recommend doing two things:
Find out what laws and regulations apply to you and your family.
Find a mentor or friend who can help answer your questions.
Once you've got that taken care of, you can take some time to research methods and curriculum. One of the best pieces of advice I received starting out, was to have a good mix of traditional school activities and non-traditional learning time. Whatever you choose to do, trust your instincts. There is strength in doing what's best for your family.
You can do this! I've got your back.
When I started homeschooling, I drew strength from other parents who had walked this path before me. I sought out advice, and read all the articles, and made friends with other families and at varying stages in the journey.
There are a lot of good people who are willing to help you along the way. All you have to do is reach out.
Remember, no matter what they say though, you are the expert, and you already know everything you need to know to be successful.
In case you need someone to start with, you could consider me your friend and mentor. Schedule a one-time, totally free coaching call using the form below.
